Teaching Philosophy

I believe that students learn best when they are in a safe environment that supports and acknowledges different outlets of academic expression and understanding. As an educator, it is my responsibility to build positive and trusting relationships with my students and learn who they are as individuals. The classroom is composed of students with diverse backgrounds, talents, and learning styles. With this, I continually strive to cater and adapt my instruction and learning activities to meet their ever-changing needs.  Kindergarten is an amazing year of social, academic and emotional growth and an important time for building the foundation of confident life long learning.
